The Ròs Bag Sewing Class

Join us for a luxury sewing experience in our cosy atelier in the heart of Zurich Old Town.

The Ròs Bag is a versatile suede bag designed to take you effortlessly from day to night. It features a softly gathered opening, a premium leather lining, a secure magnetic closure, a built in card holder and a shorter leather strap.

Wear it over your shoulder during the day, then tuck the strap inside to transform it into an elegant clutch for dinner or a more formal event.

Choose your premium suede in Black, Chocolate Brown or Stone and create a Ròs Bag that feels completely your own.

This three and a half hour class is suitable for complete beginners, as well as experienced sewers who would like to build their confidence and explore working with premium materials.

Your Class Experience

When you arrive, we will begin with a drink and a wee chat while I introduce you to the Ròs Bag and explain what we will be creating together.

We will then choose and cut your materials before moving on to an introduction to the sewing machine. You will have time to practise stitching on leather, get comfortable with the machine and ask any questions before beginning your bag.

From there, we will create the Ròs Bag together step by step. You will learn how to insert elastic into the material to create the gathered opening, add the leather lining, card holder, magnetic closure and shorter leather strap.

At the end of the class, I will carefully check your finished bag to make sure all the stitching is secure. I will reinforce any small gaps using my specialist leather sewing machine, helping to ensure your bag is strong, beautifully finished and made to last.

Once your bag is complete, you are very welcome to stay and enjoy another drink in the atelier.

Side tables will be placed beside the sewing stations, so you can keep your drinks close while you create.

Your Finished Piece

You will leave the atelier with your own beautifully finished Ròs Bag, handmade by you in premium suede and leather.

Its gathered shape, practical card holder and transformable strap make it perfect for both everyday wear and more formal occasions.

All materials, equipment, refreshments and guidance are included. No previous sewing experience is needed.
